Hemp vs Weed: What's the Difference?

So Will Hemp Get You High?

No. With 0.3 percent THC or less, hemp does not produce a high. It is grown mostly for CBD and for industrial uses like fiber, seed, and oil. Weed is the opposite. Modern marijuana flower usually tests between 15 and 30 percent THC, which is fifty to a hundred times more than hemp. That is a feeling you will absolutely notice.

The catch is consistency and oversight. These products often skip the lab testing and dosing standards that licensed cannabis must meet. New York has moved to regulate intoxicating hemp through the same state office that oversees dispensaries, so the safest, best-tested THC still runs through licensed shops.
